From the house you can see the Cambrian Mountains and the national nature reserve of Cors Caron.
Apart from the beautiful scenery and the peace, there are many historical places to visit within a few miles of the house, including Strata Florida Abbey where one of Wales' most famous poets Dafydd Ap Gwilym is buried.
There are many favourite walks within a short distance of the house and birdwatchers can enjoy seeing over a hundred species without leaving the house if necessary! A recently constructed cycle path runs nearby and cycle trails can be followed depending on the amount of difficulty required.
